Fundamentals of Medical Interpreting Training (MIT)

This 60-hour* training program meets all the criteria for national certification and was used by the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC) to set guidelines for training nationwide.

Topics include:

  • Interpreting Skills
  • Code of Ethics
  • Triadic Communication Skills
  • Standards of Practice
  • Medical Terminology in English and Target Language
  • Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology

*We also offer a 40-hour course that doesn’t include Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology.

All MIT Fundamentals Programs will be held via Zoom.
